About Me
My name is Ivan Tahine. I'm a tattoo artist based in Tbilisi, Georgia, and I've been doing this work for over 10 years.

Before settling in Tbilisi, I worked across Eastern Europe and developed a focus on detailed, original designs. I don't work from flash sheets. Every tattoo I make is custom — built around the specific person, placement, and intention behind it.

What I Make
Over the years I've developed a focus on a handful of styles where I feel I can do my best work:

  • Dragon tattoos — from minimalist linework to large-scale full-back and sleeve compositions
  • Ornamental and graphic tattoos — geometric, mandala-influenced, precise and symmetrical
  • Feminine designs — floral, delicate, expressive
  • Realism — portraits, botanical, texture-driven work
  • Cover-ups — reworking old tattoos into new pieces
  • Lettering — clean, custom typography
  • Mini tattoos — small, precise work from $70
If your idea doesn't fit neatly into one of these, message me anyway. I'm interested in unusual requests and take on projects outside my usual range when the concept is compelling.
How I work | My Approach

The first conversation is always about the idea — not the booking. Send me a message on Instagram, WhatsApp, or Telegram and tell me what you're thinking: the concept, the placement, references if you have them. I ask questions. I want to understand what the piece means to you before I start designing.

From there I create a sketch. You'll see it before we do anything. If something isn't right, we adjust it. I don't start tattooing until the design feels right to both of us.

Sessions run at $70 per hour, or $560 for a full day (8 hours). Mini tattoos start at $70. A deposit of 100–200 GEL secures your slot and goes toward design development — it's not an extra charge, it's part of the total.

During the session: free drinks, music of your choice, breaks whenever you need them. I work alone, which means you deal directly with me the whole time.

About studio| Where I Work

I work out of Unlocked Totto Shop at 11/102 Zurab Chavchavadze Street in the Chugureti district of Tbilisi — about a five-minute walk from Marjanishvili metro station.

The studio is private, sterile, and set up for long sessions. I use 100% American inks and single-use, sterile tools for every client.

Hours: Monday–Sunday, 12:00–20:00

A bit more| Beyond the Work
I'm interested in philosophy, architecture, different cultures, and art — so sessions tend to involve a real conversation if you want one. Some clients prefer silence and music. Both are fine.

On my free time I draw my comic book and chill around the city with my 6 y.o son
